This Vancouver condo in busy Fairview is in the epicenter of bustling city living but the design was lagging in the days of old. When the homeowners reached out to us to refresh their kitchen their pain points included dated, dark "zebra-striped" millwork and cheap fixtures that caused more trouble than they were worth.

Design partner Studio Hemma stepped in to expertly guide them toward their final design concept and elevated the space replacing the dark and dreary with the warmth of Shinnoki's Natural Oak veneer and pairing it with an iconic one-of-a-kind marble treatment around the cooktop. The natural wood finish with the dramatic feel and texture of real marble, form the perfect backdrop to the stunning cityscapes of downtown Vancouver. The revises layout created a symmetry within the design that anchors the room while communicating a sense of calm and comfort.

To say this kitchen has been a crown-pleaser is an understatement! An instant classic within our portfolio and saved more times than we can count.

Consult + Design

Collaborate 1-on-1 with your designer to create the design concept for your kitchen. Swede’s immersive design experience allows you to visualize your space before it's built.

Investment Review

Custom design in hand, your designer will walk you through an itemized budget estimate. Swede’s a la carte style budgeting ensures your estimate is clear and organized.

Check Measure

Once you approve your estimate, your Swede Millwork Specialist will coordinate an in-person site check to gather existing measurements and details necessary for an accurate millwork plan.

Design Refinement

In the final pre-build stage, your Swede Millwork Specialist will use all collected information to refine your millwork package and ensure each detail is reviewed by respective parties before final sign off.
